Project

Detecting schizophrenia through eye movement analysis using artificial neural networks (Deep Learning)

Technology:- Python, NumPY, Deep Learning

Built convolutional and feedforward model with batch normalization and dropouts to classify between healthy people and schizophrenic patients based on saccadic eye movement. This was built on a high performance compute cluster offered by the University of Massachusetts Boston. Achieved an accuracy of 93.87% with 11-fold cross-validation. The project was built by following an online course from Stanford CS231n by Dr. Fei-Fei Li. Many thanks to the Stanford team!

Easy-Recycler (Blockchain)

Technology:- Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Solidity, IPFS, JavaScript, Blockchain, REST, Maven

Built a decentralized Ethereum based contract for buying and selling second-hand goods, tested on Ropsten testnet. Integrated the contract with Spring Boot application and MySQL, product images were linked through InterPlanetary File System (IPFS).

Betting (Blockchain)

Technology:- Solidity, Blockchain, Remix

Built an Ethereum based contract, where users can bet during a certain level of betting game and winners are rewarded according to the risk taken, tested on Ganche and Ropsten testnet.

Edge Detector (Image Processing)

Technology:- C, Circular hough transform, Digital Image Processing, Feature extraction.

Implemented circular hough transformation feature extraction technique to detect circular boundaries in an image.

Texture Image Segmentation (Image Processing)

Technology:- C, Digital Image Processing, Feature extraction and k mean clustering.

Implemented texture segmentation based on different features extracted for the image using k-mean clustering

Raga Online Music Store (Database)

Technology:- Java, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, MySQl, Junit, REST,Apache Ant

Built a multi-page online music CD’s ordering application using Java. Designed to work on MySQL and Oracle databases. Oracle for transaction and MySQL for user’s profile, order history, reviews. Features involved sign in, sign up, catalog of CDs, user downloads, shopping cart, item checkout and invoice generation.

Run2Live (Android)

Technology:- Android SDK, Room persistence library, Google API

Built an android application to track a user’s position using GPS. Tracked information such as distance traveled, calories burned and duration of travel.
